Walking Kids Through Culture

Note: This video begins with a 5 minute countdown. Culture is the most powerful where it seems to be most normal. Our definition of culture is not precise and often untrue. People make culture, God made nature and culture is what we do with the nature God made. Schools have a culture, as teachers we are not victims of the culture but can actually make and contribute to it. A healthy school culture will reject those things that are life stealing or dehumanizing and will accept those things that are life-giving. We make culture and culture makes us. One of the most important skills we can give the next generation is to teach them to ask the hard questions? particularly around those things that are normal in culture today.
