Module 1: The Interpretation of Scripture
Overview
In Course 1 Laying the Foundation, we studied the truth, narrative, and unity of the Bible. This framework will be vital in Course 2 as we identify and apply the building blocks of reading and correctly interpreting Scripture.
The content in this module is curated from Stand to Reason’s class Never Read a Bible Verse by Alan Shlemon. Stand to Reason trains Christians to think more clearly about their faith and to make an even-handed, incisive, yet gracious defense for classical Christianity and classical Christian values in the public square. Visit their website for more information and resources. In his class, Alan details practical keys to read Scripture, including never reading a Bible verse in isolation.
