Module 3: The Application of Scripture
Overview
In the previous modules, we explored how to interpret Scripture, including an in-depth study of biblical genres. In this module, we will analyze how our biblical interpretation impacts worldview and how to develop a worldview rooted in the truth of Scripture. A true worldview should be supported by reason and evidence, while false worldviews fail to align with reality. This module will guide us in evaluating worldviews through the lens of logic and critical thinking.
For the final project (artifact), we will integrate key insights from all three modules to develop biblical answers to worldview questions.
The content in this module is curated from Stand to Reason’s class Evaluating Worldviews by Robby Lashua. Stand to Reason trains Christians to think more clearly about their faith and to make an even-handed, incisive, yet gracious defense for classical Christianity and classical Christian values in the public square. Visit their website for more information and resources.

View ResourceReflect
Before starting this final module, take a moment to self-reflect on your worldview, or your view of reality and the basis for your decisions.
- Consider the many influences around you, such as culture, politics, family, friends, community, and the environment. How do you assess your beliefs to shape your worldview and guide your choices?
