God's word or best foot forward has always lead me but when times were challenging at public school a position opened at my Christian school and I leaped with faith and my best foot forward to take on a new position and career choice.

I started reading and believing the Bible in 1982 when I became a Christian while on tour as a professional jazz musician. I had dramatic change as I began the journey of sanctification, allowing God to show me so many things that He wanted to transform in my life. He's still working on me. I have been bought, redeemed by Jesus, and now I attempt to live a life in gratitude for this unspeakable gift of salvation in Jesus Christ. He blesses me and keeps me and my family every day.

I have my students read through Colossians 3 for 5 days. They journal and create and action point for what God is calling them to. They have to put that action point into practice that day and report back the situation and how they applied Gods word to their daily lives.
