God's word impacts my life daily. It affects the way I parent, the type of husband I am, and how I address and deal with the students in my school. I see my role in my school's leadership as an opportunity further the kingdon of God by discipling the students under my care towards Christ.

God's Word impacts everything I say and do, even though I fail at times. I pray for his wisdom in my personal and professional life.

God's word has been my foundation and my hope since He saved me at age 13! His promises and the instruction His world gives me kept me during my tough youth and have been critical for the life I now enjoy. It has been my mirror, my mentor, my judge, and advocate in every stage of my life since 1996.

Honestly, being a parent I have seen God's work in action most days. In the way my kids are wonderfully made, to all my blessings. As an educator, I see it in how I discipline students, using God's love at my lens.

Re: School Leadership

God's Word impacts my life every day as I live out my walk with Christ. I have accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior, and I use the Word of God to make decisions about how I respond as a leader in my school, as a wife, and a mother, as a sister, as a daughter, and as a friend. Though I fall short sometimes, it is my faith in God that leads me to reflect, confess, and repent. God reminds me of His everlasting love through His many blessings in my life and the lives of others. I am a witness to His promise. I prayed that I would be a mother one day, and I trusted that God would bless me with a child. Although it took 7 years, God blessed us with an amazing son.

One verse that has deeply impacted my leadership is James 1:5: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God...” This reminded me that effective leadership starts with seeking God’s wisdom, not relying solely on my own understanding. His Word helps me lead with integrity, view each student as made in His image, and make decisions rooted in grace and truth. God’s Word has impacted my life deeply through Proverbs 3:5–6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart…” In my role at school, this verse reminds me to rely on God’s guidance rather than my own plans. Whether making decisions for students or facing unexpected challenges, I’ve learned to pause, pray, and trust that God will direct my path—and He always does.
